I love Me Me In St Louis
One of my favorite movies that I used to watch on TV during the holiday season but no one plays it anymore. I saw the moive on eBay for an excellent price and grbbed it! It's such a great story. No one can beat Judy Garland seing "I'm Dreaming Of A White Christmas"... Wonderful movie and I'm so glad I have it in collection now.

Interesting slice of history
This movie was mostly what I expected, but a bit of a surprise in the character of Tootie. She was basically a hellion whose outrageous behavior was tonally inconsistent with the rest of the movie. I realize this movie was based on a memoir of real people, so I can only chalk this up to truth being stranger than fiction, but it caused a bit of consternation watching the scenes regarding Halloween shenanigans with my family. Having said that, Judy Garland shows how talented she is musically, and she made the best of what was a pretty blase' character. There's family conflicts that mostly ring true, and the humor is subtle and effective (mostly). The ending scene brought the biggest laughs. This is worth it if you are Judy Garland fan, a fan of older musicals, or simply someone interested in a picture of America just after the turn of the 20th century (i.e. 1903). It makes me interested in reading the book this movie is based on, at least. I was glad to pick this up for $7 with free shipping, because I think it is overpriced if any higher.

Don't miss this!
Classic Musical. Judy Garland is wonderful. Music is the best. One of the greatest musicals in U.S. movie history.

Great family musical
Love this old movie, filled with a great cast and musical numbers. Great costume designs and very cinematic. Enjoyed every minute!

An absolute Redo!
For me this is absolutly a 5*. THis is a movie, old as it is, that we will so over and over again. For us, that is the GOLD standard. One u will see again and again.

Makes you feel young again!
A truly enjoyable classic of the past; unforgettable songs along with a superb cast. It's a great reminder of the great musicals during the golden movie years. And with Judy Garland in the leading role, how could you go wrong?

Great Movie - not a great copy!
This is a fabulous movie - I wanted a DVD copy to replace a VCR tape. Altho it was shrink wrapped, it was obviously a low grade copy. The movie had Chinese close captioning that stayed the entire movie - occasionally it would change to English. I did not want close captioning at all. You get what you pay for - I should have known better.
