Beginning of "The Breeds"
If you like erotic romance, Lora Leigh is the best. Her characters are always likable and developed, and there's a genuine plot arc. She also is very clear with where the next story is going to go in the series, making sure to develop that character just enough to whet the appetite for the next book in line. And, if the paranormal story lines aren't your favorite, she has plenty of other series that focus on a variety of characters of the more "human" variety.

Great Beach read
Need a quick hot read, here it is. Want a hot enticing series, here it is. This is the first, chronological, of the Breed series, yet it was written as book 5; don't let the numbers fool you they can be read as individual or in order. I LOVE this series and can't wait to read it again and again.
