    This item arrived as described and on time. I gave the four star rating because I think it was banged up a bit in shipping (envelope type package with bubble wrap) and maybe should have been put in a box with bubble wrap. My son is giving this to his new wife on their wedding day so I didn't want to chance sending it back since it was the only new version I could find online for him. I think she'll love it anyway. Overall, I'd say I'm really pleased though and would recommend this seller.

    The book arrived today in excellent condition; wrapped in protective bubble wrap, and protected in a study cardboard box that was perfect for the book size. The book has sentimental value and I asked Brenham Book Company for extra care to send the book and I was trully impressed by their reply and actions took. Truly a top shelf company that I will use again!!

    Too soon to tell

    I haven't read it yet. It is for my winter reading, so it would be unfair for me to comment further. This book was recommended by a reliable source and that is why I bought it now. About rating books purchased on eBay, they always ask me about my recommendations too soon. If I was to start reading it as soon as I got it, I wouldn't be ready to rate the book as soon as eBay requests it. Give me more time on book purchases!

    Can't put it down.

    Two thirds of the book are the actual battle, almost minute for minute. I could not go to sleep. You want to know what's happening over there, well, read this book. If you study history, you can see history repeating itself. It's happening already. The Moors tried to do what Issi's is doing today. But that's getting away from the book. Read it if you want to know .

    Real life action from Afghanistan.

    An easy read from a real American hero! Medal of Valor winner from the war in Afghanistan details how he and his fellow Marines withstood hours of heavy fire while outnumbered 300 to 50. Compelling.

    A great read, about an even greater tragedy!

    A must read if you have any concern for our troops serving in Afganistan or any of the other wars our country is wrapped up in. My heart breaks for these men who are stuck in impossible situations like this for nothing more than corrupt political and financial objectives! Those who oppose our military are doing nothing more than we would do if we were similarly invaded.

    A real live story....... and one of the best books I have read...

    I am a Vietnam Vet and was in the Army.. However, regardless of branch of service or which war in which we were members--- books such as this take you right back in time... The humor of young men in combat that many in civilian life would never comprehend comes to life in the book as well at the brotherhood which we defend..
