The story of this melancholic comedy follows these two unemployed actors in 1969 London, as they take a holiday in the country. Focusing on characterisation, WITHNAIL AND I is a subtly hilarious 1980s British film.

RIP Rik Mayall
The British TV shows the Young Ones, Filthy Rich and Catflap, and Bottom are all Withnail and I on steroids. Not a bad movie but I've seen better.
