Be prepared for hours of extra work !
Seller cannot be held responsible for faults like these - re-releases may have addressed them - one would hope so, as the enjoyment of building is a little dulled by the need for constant trimming and adjustment of may parts. It would appear the moulds are getting a bit worn. I built one of these many moons ago - and do not remember any such issues. The kit in itself is great, but the horrendous amount of flash is a challenge for all but experienced modellers, particularly on smaller parts. Added to this the model was intended to have a motor fitted to accept the propellor shaft - and the fixing now supplied is a sloppy fit at best and would almost inevitably break. Modellers would be well advised to find a better method !. (The motors are now almost impossible to obtain separately even from Airfix), alternatives don't seem to be available, if and when they are offered for sale extortonate prices are asked. For an item that is (was) no doubt made in China for a few pennies its omission is difficult to improve on.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Absolute bargain
I'm back doing models after over 30 years.... been doing 1/48 aircraft for a while and thought I'd step it up abit. Got to say this kit in nice.... bit of flash to clear up so have patience with it. It's not overly complicated but is big enough with lots of parts to be a good challenge.... but i would say with time and patience even a medium skilled builder could do this. The paints in the kit are a bit weak and thin for my liking and will need a good mix.... or buy good paint.

Great kit.
This is not a toy. A highly complex kit including paints etc needed for construction. Teaches patience, planning, construction techniques and how this produces a beautiful model of a classic plane which played a major role in the defence of the UK and ultimately it’s part in defeating nazism.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Nicely detailed model.

Not yet built but expect to be satisfied
This was a Christmas gift for my grandson aged 8 years. The kit is not yet out of the box and I expect to join him in many hours of painstaking assembly to achieve the best result.
