This a a simple to use unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet Switch. It is ideal to extend a home wired network running on category 6 cable. Great Value Gigabit Switch
This was the cheapest 1Gbps switch I could find that was manufactured by a known brand. I only use it in a basic home setup so I haven't tested it as extensively as some people might but to me it's performance seems very good - the 6 devices I have connected all show a 1Gbps connection with no drop outs. This is very lightweight (and small) s be sure not to allow cables to drag off wherever you put it (it can be fixed to a wall).
