Expensive, but worth every penny.
I own a copy of this book already. I play druids who can outheal clerics, and no, I'm not kidding. This book was full of secrets, and any sensible druid player should grab it. But this copy, I purchased for a friend who plays bards and found their spells to be too confining for her. Now she has a better opinion, and a growing interest in sorcery . . .

the ULTIMATE splat book
This is probably the ultimate "splat" or supplement book for the best version of D&D. Just 285 pages dedicated to 1 thing: spells. Among them is Healing Touch for arcane casters to Heal allies. There are alternate cleric domains too. If you need 1 book along with the basics, it's the spell compendium.
