    Current version far superior design

    I've had a pop and lock tailgate lock on my wife's tacoma since a week after we bought it in 2017... it started having issues locking or unlocking even though I could hear it trying. I figured the solenoid was going bad so I ordered a new kit. The new setup is a stronger design, and engages the locking mechanism in a more efficient way. I changed out the solenoid anyway because of the design difference, but all the old one needed was some graphite lock lube.

    Great complete kit, everything fits right

    Well built, all the components you need to wire the tailgate for auto-locking with the truck doors! Two of us put it in in 1 hour and 7 minutes start to clicking-ready finished.

    Pop and Lock

    The pop and lock looks like its well made. The install was pretty easy. I would recommend it, if you want to be able to lock your tailgate.
