Super Mario Bros. deluxe for Nintendo Game Boy Color brings everything you love about Super Mario Bros. plus a whole lot more. Enjoy four different modes of game play in this deluxe version. In original mode, you'll complete levels in order to rescue Princess Toadstool. Levels get progressively more difficult, so you'll have to keep your eyes open, and your mind focused in order to get the Princess to safety. In challenge mode, find specific items in the game in order to advance to the next level. Play with a friend in versus mode with a connection cable. Mario and Luigi each compete to see who does better in this mode. Find even more excitement in bonus levels that are unlocked by achieving specific tasks.

A Must Buy.
I think that it is a great version of the original Super Mario Bros. It worked great! If you want to play the original Mario, Deluxe is a great experience. Only problem is the screen crunch but I don't care. If you have a game boy color or compatibles lying around the house you should pick up this game for sure!

Difficult, but worth the challenge
I originally played this game through the Nintendo eShop, and it is surprisingly difficult, but I defeated the first 8 worlds and it was extremely satisfying. When I saw a physical copy on eBay, I knew I had to have it. I would definitely recommend a real copy over the 3DS virtual console, the sound on this game is amazing and the graphics are sharp. This game is truly a timeless classic.

Got is a great game. 5 stars definitely I put not good graphics but it’s a gameboy color game what do you expect.. love the game!

Happy Camper!
The game did arrive a bit late but the wait was totally worth it! The game looks like the picture and works as it should. I'm very happy with my purchase :)

A fun game with some minor annoyances and major improvements.
Of course, this is the same game as the original Super Mario Bros. It has a weird scroll because it can't fit the entire stage on the screen, but it has fun features like fortune telling, printing, a gallery, and a calendar. Also, you have battery saves and when you die you don't go back to World 1-1.

Worked like a charm
It was the game exactly what I wanted. Funny though, I was using it on my old gameboy that I hadn't used since 2003 and it needed a definite warm up. Otherwise, the game works.

Original Super Fun Game
Love the original Mario Brothers Games. Still play the Gameboy Color and now my granddaughter is playing with them as well. Gets her off the iPad app games. Super Fun!

Great deluxe version of an absolute classic
It's the original SMB you know and love, but with extra features like challenges and save slots. Sweet.

I love it too much!
The game works perfectly and princess peach and the toads were hilarious 😂 i just about choked laughing LOLOLOL!!!!
