Great Story Well Told
This is a heartwarming story of two boys who fall in love through their friendship. It is a truly platonic love and devotion through their mutual quest to find a cure for one of the boys. One of them has AIDS which was acquired through a medical procedure. All his school boy chums treated him like a pariah save one who grew to love him in spite of his illness. The story is about the boys' naive adventures to find a botanical cure for his disease. It is truly a great story well told.

The Cure
Thought it was great movie.made u want to cry at times. Been yrs. Since I've seen it. I'm now looking for one called I am Gabriel.on DVD. Can't find it anywhere. I want it on DVD. Thank u very much. I just don't want to pay big price.im not rich.

This should be required viewing
This tackles both child and adult subjects in equal measure. From being an only to grieving the loss of your only child. From bullying to child abuse. We see both young and old in both extremes. From the staggering cruelty of a young bully to the innocence of a summer bromance. In a way, this is like Tom Sawyer meets Stand By Me in a coming of age medical drama.
