Snap-On F936 ratchet wrench
The F936 follows the 830 series, and is the next evolution step in Snap-On's completely sealed ratchet head design. The mechanism is a 36 tooth gear with a two tooth per side engagement pawl. For it's time, the 936 series mechanism design was the first teardrop style to finally break past the typical 30 tooth gear count, which the previous generations offered. The 936 is a very stout design, it offers a very tight crisp ratcheting action, with a slight higher backdrag. That's probably due to the specific spring used, and in my opinion is alittle too long given the heavier guage wire used to make the spring. But it's your own preference. This particular F936 that I purchased, is one of the early variants produced, as the circle around the Snap-On logo was not stamped on in the logo at this time. Legendary Snap-On quality, made in the USA. 🇺🇸👍
