Good reference to have on hand; and a good value.
I lost my DSM IV that I had since 1994 in my move to another state last year and so I replaced it with the DSM V. This was a good value. I'll use the manual in the future. It's good to have on hand as a reference if you have been trained to use it.

Great Product
This book is clear and easy to read with pages that are designed for healthcare. You will note that unlike normal reading books, this book has a great finish and easy to lightly clean pages. I'm very impressed with the condition and overall design of this book.

Awesome deal for the money!
The book came super fast. It was shrink wrapped and new! I am very impressed! the pages are printed on quality stock and the print is good, although a bit lighter than I'm used to in psychological texts.. overall I recommend - especially for those college students on a budget. $ 50 is a steal considering the quality of this text.

Easy to Carry
This book was recommended by my professor since I am pursing a Mental Health Counseling graduate degree. Very easy to carry back and forth from class...probably lighter than the hardcover and cheaper.

Necessary if you’re studying to be a counselor
I’m a graduate student going for my master’s in counseling and the DSM 5 is required reading. I have access to it online but want a physical copy. The cover has small creases, but the pages are in perfect condition. I got a great deal.

Very happy to have been able to obtain this pristine, shrink-wrapped copy for such a low price. I was a reference librarian and I wanted a copy. It is lightweight, easy to read, and a welcome addition to my library.

Books ok.
The DSM-5 is not a book one sits down to read. It is a reference volume for diagnosing mental disorders... Frankly, it makes for boring reading. But, it provides valuable information and in an improvement on the DSM-4.

It's a great Manual on disorders to own and use as a reference
If you want to know more about the different disorders this book will be a GREAT HELP. For me it was required in a substance abuse class at Ohio Christian University. If you need to know more information on drugs or any other disorder get this book.

Study book for mental health issues.
I am a Veteran's Service Officer, and assist Veteran's with their Claims. This manual is used by the VA in rating mental health conditions. Veteran Claims that deal with PTSD issues are explained so that a Service Officer can properly write up these issues. This is the latest manual. Of course anyone who deals with mental health issues needs one. For me I mostly deal with only the PTSD issues and the more I know and understand the better the claim package will be.

Great price for a needed reference book for a social
Bought for a recent graduate in Social work studies as her graduation present it is usually very expensive. I got great hug and kiss from my god daughter for getting this it is a must have for social workers
