After a one-game sojourn into the world of real-time strategy, Larian Studios' long-running Divinity series returns to its RPG roots in Original Sin. The classic isometric action finds players engaging in turn-based battles against the encroaching orc army of Tanoroth. Gamers take control of two hero characters, a condemned man who was released to fight, and a mystical woman resurrected from the dead, but character-creation options mean both heroes can be altered significantly. As the story unfolds, more and more about the history of Rivellion will be revealed.<br><br>Players can acquire new skills, spells, equipment, and action points as they advance through the story, and they can hire henchmen to help round out their battle party. The world of Rivellion is dynamic, with NPCs all possessing their own motivations and desires, and there are dozens of random objects to find around the landscape, some of which can be combined to form useful items. Multiplayer fans can drop in or out of co-op action at any time, complete with branching dialogue options that let both players make their own decisions, which could ultimately lead to compatibility issues.<br><br>This Enhanced Edition offers an updated experience for Xbox One owners, with a new user-interface designed to work better with controllers, and new split-screen local multiplayer action. The dialogue has been remastered, and the storyline has been reworked to offer a variety of new quests and locations.

    The item was not received in it's listed condition. It had been shipped loosely and carelessly with preventable damage to the disc on arrival. I notified the seller days ago and was ignored. The disc does thankfully still boot and may be repairable. I always review feedback before making a purchase, looking for which sellers to avoid. Look no further!

    strategic roleplaying game

    great game once you get into it a little. takes some learning and solid strategic play. really fun turn based D&D-like gameplay. graphics are a bit cartoony, but they make sense in the game.

    RPG Divinity EE by Focus

    Got this game because I prefer playing RPG style games. I am not much into multiplayer style games, but rather playing solo. It is very good in the way it has been designed with the quests that you can accomplish both main and side quests. I like it because of the interaction with having to seek and search for items both involving combat an non-combat with the characters you come in contact with during you're quest objectives. The only thing that I do not like about it is that you have to be online in the event there is a update to the game so it gets downloaded to the xbox one (bug fixes). Up to this. I have not encountered any bugs or gliches.

    Instant Classic!!

    As close to tabletop RPG experience as you could get!! Also, the best coop game I've ever played!!

    Great gameplay

    Enjoyable role playing game. I have it on PC but bought this for Xbox One because it is easier to set up for multiplayer.
