An extremely useful and very versatile device
This is a very neat and effective device. It enables me to keep close control of gas usage and has several additional features I like. I can set it to power down while I am on holiday, but without allowing the house temperature to fall below a minimum I can set, and it will come on early in very cold weather to make sure the house is warm when we get up. It is easy to set up and adjust.

Good quality,value and works well when bought brand new
I bought a brand new one to replace the same model after almost 9 years as the LED screen started to fail long before that so we will se how long this one lasts. You do get a unit with many different functions for the money so works well. All instructions are clear and it is easy to set up with existing compatable relay unit thats wired to your boiler.

Easy to set up and install
I bought this product to replace an older unit of the same brand that had lasted 10 years.The thermostat was easy to link up to the receiver unit to control my heating system and took less than 5 minutes for me to complete the pairing. This product provides the ability to provide multiple days of programming for the heating which is really helpful for setting different times for weekends and weekdays to keep the house warm. Programming the device is straight forward and the copy day function allows you to quickly create the 7 day schedule. The override function is useful for those very cold days when you need to boost the warmth in the house. You just need to remember to switch it off before going to bed.

good used item but expensive
bought as a replacement for one that had broken. no longer made so bought as "used" Good quality, clean, well packaged and arrived on time. Item rather expensive and postage was £7 for a small, light item!

PACKED WITH FEATURES BUT COMES AT A PRICE
This was a replacement for one that failed. It is quite a delicate unit that can easily get damaged if left in the wrong place. The LED screen appears to be a weak point, and once it fails you can't control it, so make sure it is 100% functional before you buy secondhand. That said it has quite a few features, and if you take the time to review the engineers installation manual, it has many many more that are not obvious from the domestic quick start user guide. Expensive if you buy it new, and not cheap secondhand.

Back to warmth
I never actually needed the new relay box as was able to rebind my original box with the brand new wireless thermostat. The instructions were clear and really easy to follow . I am very pleased with my purchase.

Good replacement
Does not come with the wireless relay box. Was in brand new condition. Works perfectly as a like-for-like replacement. It was bought to replace the same model that had a failed display, which appears to be a recognised problem with these. It paired with the existing relay box without problem and is working without any issues.

Wrongly described
The screen display only partly illuminated- so the product was not in good working order as stated-however we had to keep it as it needed to be fitted on a certain day.
