This release includes the entire fifth season of the show, with episodes featuring guest stars such as Stanley Tucci, Sean Astin, Chi McBride, and Sharon Lawrence. Thoughtful and entertaining
I love this show. I actually saw it for the first time on You Tube last year. As I did not subscribe to cable in decades, I missed this gem of a series. I loved Tony Shaloub since he played in the show "Wings" His character Antonio, was hilarious on that show. Monk is very endearing, and although it is amusing at times, you can really see how this ingenious sleuth suffers with the challenges of OCD and his traumatic memories of his wifes death. Its a PG series ( that's my rating) so it is pretty safe for the whole family but not for very young ones as some of the opening crime scenes can be a little disturbing. I highly recommend it.
