Sad-sack teen Billy Duncan (Kim Milford) desperately needs supernatural powers to get a leg up in life. His mother doesn't care for him. So-called friends tease him. A Neanderthal police officer continually rides him. In fact, only his sweetheart, Kathy, treats him with any kind of affection at all. Then Billy finds a laser-rigged cannon and a mysterious brooch -- apparently the possessions of aliens. Although his skin turns green after Billy acquires these items, he feels much less wimpy and decides it's high time for a little payback. Featured on an episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000, LASERBLAST is goofy fun that features nifty, turtle-like aliens that were created and animated by stop-motion great David Allen.

Good cheesy movie
I love older cheesy si-fi movies, it was one I watched with my father as a child. So to find it now on DVD was cool. Over 30 years later I watched it again with the old man. Great times.

Laserblast from your childhood past
Low budget at its finest . I remember my older brother taking me to see this . ONLY because he shot me with his bb gun and didn't want me to tell our parents ! If you're a Charles Band fan ? You have to own this DVD.

Fun Movie, But Recording Sucks
This movie is recorded very badly to DVD. The image shakes back and forth slightly throughout the entire movie. The DVD does not shake. It's the image that shakes. Even the version on YouTube does not shake. The film was fun but the recording sucked.
