Product Information

Following the snowballing success of Katamari Damacy, Namco challenges players to roll it all up again in this sequel. As in the original, a tank-tracks styled control scheme has players using both analog sticks to roll a sticky ball around each of the game's colorful levels, gathering nearly every object the ball touches to make it grow larger. The biggest change in We Love Katamari may be the multiplayer modes, in which two characters must work together to move the ball, each controlling the equivalent of one analog stick. Other new features include the ability to pause the game and examine the level from various perspectives (including a "King of Cosmos'"-eye view from above), the chance to take pictures with an in-game camera, and a choice of background music before levels.

This game is aight.
There are a couple of new elements, like 2 player options, but the storyline, or lack there of, is kind of a bummer. You traverse the same area over and over and OVER trying to beat levels. It gets old pretty quick. But the visuals are cool and it's a fun game, nonetheless. There are new characters you can roll with.

Very Fun
This game is so unique and charming, with just the right amount of wacky. Cute and colorful characters, fun Japanese culture, catchy music, and lots of different levels make Katamari a game with lots of replay value and the promise of smiles every time you start it up.

Best game + music humor-story-cuteness
Either you love Katamari or you have lost the ability to appreciate living. A game so good that I have considered what would be required to preserve a PS2 for future generations.

We Love 'We Love Katamari'
Got this for my wife and I. We had been playing the first one, and she fondly remembered this. It arrived quickly, in great shape. A perfect sequel. Improves bits on the first in every way. Funny; fun! Amazing.
