Cabin Pressure is set in the wing and a prayer world of a tiny, one-plane charter airline; staffed by two pilots, one on his way down, and one who was never up to start with. Whether flying a cat to Abu Dhabi, dealing with a nervous bassoonist, hunting for a cleverly-hidden lemon or attempting to celebrate Christmas in seven minutes, no job is too small, but many, many jobs are too difficult. Hysterically funny drama about a plane, its owner and its crew
The humour is extremely clever and the script well-written. Roger Allam as the second officer is sardonically funny, while Arthur, the owner's son is an innocent abroad, taken advantage of by all. He is played by John Finnemore, the writer of the series, and his voice has the right quality to suggest his guileless take on life. Some episodes are brilliantly witty, and all are enhanced by the acting: listen to Vaduz and you will see what I mean.

Genius comedy
Perfect comedy radio, now a classic. The casting is exactly right for the characters and the simple concept is clever. Every episode is entertaining and John Finnemore is a genius! I prefer CDs but the series is now mainly available digitally - excellent for car journeys

The Perfect Comedy
Adore this radio comedy; it's warm-hearted, clever, and I can listen to it over and over again without ever becoming bored. Epic cast, and endearing characters, writing as sharp as Carolyn's put-downs.

Best Radio Comedy ever - pity it never m...
Best Radio Comedy ever - pity it never made it onto tv but I am not sure that it would travel so well as the comedy is too clever.

A laugh out loud comedy
Intelligently written, well acted comedy. Somewhat of a rarity these days. Just wish there were further series in the offing
