A quality laser level for the price
This is the first rotary laser level I’ve ever used. It came with all accessories in new condition. My usage has been pretty limited so far but will say I tested the calibration across my 200 foot pond and it was spot on. Definitely accurate enough for everything I’m going to use it for.

Adequate for the price
The laser receiver and remote that come with this kit work fine outside, which is why I bought this system. The tripod is made of aluminum and is a bit flimsy - I use a wooden tripod for survey work and this is a better and more stable setup. Time will tell if it holds up as the case of the laser unit seems a little flimsy as well for a professional tool - this is why I rated it 4 stars. The range is far more than I required, and I didn't test it to 1000 feet. For a few dollars more in this kit you get the more sensitive receiver.

Great investment. Easy one person use.
Used it right out of the box to level and lay out above ground pool and level posts for on site amateur deck construction. Worked like a charm and easy to use.

Excellent
Couldn't ask for more in a laser transit system. If you are using a single beam laser or similar, this thing will pay for itself just in saved time. The receiver is VERY accurate, I estimate the sweet spot for showing center is 1/32" max. I'll never need 1000' of radius, but the fact that it is accurate to 1000' means that I don't worry at all about setting the laser up 100 feet away from the job site and keeping it away from the action.
