- 4***2 (19)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzte 6 MonateBestätigter KaufCheap as chips 3d printed replacement cover for Ring Doorbell 2 cover plate. It’s obviously brand new, as it’s a 3d printed copy. There are other sellers offering ones that cover the actual doorbell button as well. I didn’t need that covered. Note, if you’re replacing the cover yourself, there are 8 screws on the rear of the cover. You require a torx screwdriver head, size 6T. I tried many places to find this information, but struggled. So I thought I’d let you all know whilst making the review.

The old nameplate was metal and corroded quite badly, leaving deposits of what looked like limescale all over it. I struggled to get the old faceplate off but eventually my son prized it off with a thin flathead screwdriver. The end result is my doorbell looks like new, and I'm hoping that as its plastic I wont have the same problem as before. Very pleased, thank you.

It is a nice option for the damaged original faceplate, but the fact that it is nade of plastic and 3D printed, it is not that flexible or resistent. When I put back the screws it cracked slitly. It is not visible and I hope it doesn't crack any further.

The seller was very extremely helpful and made the ‘seaside’ blue especially for me after I asked if they had any blue ones. They were made within days, to a great standard and posted quickly. Not much I can do about stolen design now but I was able to remove the video and replace it with a private link which will be provided to all customers going forward.
