The outer box was only slightly bent in places but it was probably a mix of handling during shipment and the material the album is originally packaged in. It was received as described and had all inclusions. I’m glad to have purchased at an unbeatable price.

    The quantity was incorrect and when I contacted the seller they were quick to make it right. I really appreciate the customer service. Items are as described from what I can tell and the value was great. Although shipped in a poly mailer the albums arrived safely.

    Intriguing

    Sean Connery's performance is great, as you'd expect, as a marshall duking it out with crooks confined to a mining space station. It is shot almost entirely inside the station. Although the sound effects and music are very dated, keep in mind, this was made in 1981, it is still a believable space flick nonetheless. The plot is believable. The character development for all the cast is very well done. And there are some great action sequences. I definitely recommend.

    Get the bluray instead of the dvd.

    The dvd image quality left a lot to be desired. If you're interested in this movie I'd suggest getting the bluray. The bluray quality got a okay review on highdefdigest. Also note the widescreen is formatted for a 4 by 3 screen. I had to magnify the image to get a full 1080p screen.

    Old sci fi

    This was standard fare in the 80s. Special effects were a joke, as was the general understanding of being in space. It's really kind of campy. This might pass as a Saturday afternoon, uhf television, type of movie.

    Great scifi

    Great!! This is probably the most underated sci-fi films ever. A sci-fi remake of the western Hi Noon. Connery plays a marshal on a mining colony on Jupiter's moons Io. He discovers that the miners are given a drug that makes them working but causing them to become pycotic later and commiting suciey. The film is highly effective and ingaging. Underated at time and still ignored today. When you consider the juvenile albiet better special effects sci-fi films today, this is a breath of fresh air of maturity. 5 stars

    Outland the movie

    This was like a western in space......the marshal and the bad guys...........and no one is talking or helping the marshal do his job......even when a hit was put on his head......but in true fashion Sean Connery makes the movie work.
