Released in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the hugely influential Nintendo Entertainment System console (which first appeared in Japan as the Famicom, in 1984), the "Classic NES Series" of Game Boy Advance cartridges present accurate versions of original NES games, for play on the handheld.<br><br>Despite less graphical detail along the ground, and explosions that don't sound quite as deep, Xevious for the NES is an extremely faithful port of Atari's 1982 arcade classic, which has players controlling a futuristic plane that can fire missiles and drop bombs as it scrolls vertically through enemy territory.

My girlfriend loves it!
Nice port of a nice port of a great Arcade game. My girlfriend loves this game and will play for hours to beat her high score. I definitely recommend for lovers of vertical scrolling shooters, this is one of the first and it plays great.

Great old game.
Some of the ‘old’ games are still great. Graphics may be a bit ‘clunky’ by today’s standards but that doesn’t mean that they aren’t still very good and entertaining. An excellent value for many.
