Although new, this disc wouldn't play pr...
Although new, this disc wouldn't play properly initially: it made a loud buzzing noise. I found something like a piece of lint stuck on the edge. Once I cleaned it, it was fine, and of course the 4k quality was much nicer than the old DVD I had. I only mention the problem in case someone else has the same problem, and the solution is simple.

Classic Top Gun
Nicer to watch in 4K or with the blue ray disc included. Also has extra scenes from the movie which are entertaining to watch

The picture and audio are amazing. Go 4k! It's worth it.
Great movie wanted to see again before watching the sequil.I was able to find a 4k version on ebay that was cheaper than blu ray on some other sites.

Top Gun (4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, NO DIGITAL)
The audio & video quality of both the 4K & Blu-ray copies were so unbelievably bad, I'm just going to throw it in the trash. The video of both media copies was GRAINY at best in huge portions of the movie. The audio quality (bass) seems to be muted and almost non-existent. My intention was to replace my older blu-ray but now not a chance because the video & audio is of much better quality.

As one of my favorite movie, I purchased...
As one of my favorite movie, I purchased this 4k ultra hd as a viewing enhancement. It is an improvement but the new ultra 4k movies are a vast improvement.

So glad I got this movie before the sequel is out
I forgot how much I loved Top Gun. The Blu-Ray is excellent but the the 4K has richer colors and more detail.
