    Good seller and quick shipping, but I asked to have the boxes plastic wrapped for shipping and they came dirty with stickers all over them and no plastic wrap. My message was ignored or didn’t get relayed to shipping.

    Aside from that this can was exactly what I wanted at a fair price, what really needs praise is how the seller handled a shipping that went sideways. The spout that came with this can was damaged either in a warehouse or during shipping. I sent pictures of the damaged box and broken spout and asked how to proceed. With the information provided a replacement spout is on the way to be delivered tomorrow. Customer service like this is what creates return customers, of which I will be one.

    Top quality, great value

    I was so pleased with my initial purchase of a single cartridge that I ordered three more for other Moen sink/shower controls in the home. I already had a "T" handle puller that greatly facilitated the replacement of the old leaking cartridge. I highly recommend buying this simple tool. It is well worth the money and you will still save a considerable amount over hiring a plumber to do the job. A new cartridge properly installed will provide flawless service for years. After pulling the old cartridge I cleaned out the bore in the faucet with an old toothbrush and some fine sandpaper wrapped around the large end of a socket wrench extension. A large wood dowel or any suitable round rod would suffice. I used double sided tape to help keep the sandpaper in place, then swabbed the ...

    Planning ahead!

    I used my spare to fix the drip for Master bath shower head. The remaining tub/shower, and 5 sink faucets require the exact same cartridge. So, I do NOT want the typical emergency panic with guests arriving to happen and have to replace & pay a LOT more than I have to just to meet immediate need! A little planning can avoid panic and over paying! This is only the 2 valve I have had to replace in 16 yrs and the 1st one was for a tub only in master bath and was done by plumber (~1.5 years & with ~ $150 cost). He showed me how to replace this myself (recently watched video too)..I got a replacement valve immediately so I would have at least one available if needed. Last Sunday 6/12 night at 10:00 PM I noticed a drip! waited until morning to replace. Others could go at ANY time! So ...

    Plastic Housing Versus Original Brass

    If you want to keep your faucet, you have to use this replacement part which is plastic versus the original brass. The difference between the 1225 and the 1225B is how the water goes into the water discharge tube. The 1225, which you can't find on eBay, has a round discharge hole and the 1225B is tear dropped. However, the 1225B will work on a 1225 faucet. Being plastic versus brass, I don't believe the longevity will be as good as the original. When installing, buy some heat resistant plumbing grease and place a thin film on all the rubber components. It's easy to install if you follow the enclosed directions.

    Moen cartridge replacement.

    This is an excellent, inexpensive way to repair the Moen faucet that uses this cartridge. It is easy to install, but you may need a cartridge polar if you're cartridge is over a year old because the cartridge has a tendency to stick to the tube that it is inserted into. It seems to be good quality and the price is a good value.

    A very good deal

    This is a genuine Moen replacement cartridge that was less than half the price that other vendors wanted for a clone. It arrived quickly in a factory sealed package, and it was the correct part. I installed it in 30 minutes (including time to shut and drain water) and it has worked flawlessly since. I am very satisfied.
