    Exact replacement alternator for a 1986 2.9l Ford Ranger. Needed to replace serpentine belt pulley with "V" belt pulley from old alternator. Packaged very well for shipment via USPS ground. Received within a few days of shipment. New condition as described, Price of this item was the lowest found. Many sites and sellers for this alternator were offering higher prices for a rebuilt alternator, than what was paid for this new one.

    Currently the best of its category

    I've always been a light sleeper and very sensitive to noises, I've tried many types and many brands but none came closer to Heroes Xtreme in terms of noise reduction and as little as discomfort as possible. The only downsize is that the same pair can only be used for up to a week after which they are no longer efficient in reducing noise, but I guess it's how it should be because ear hygiene also plays a role here. They're not that cheap and shipping costs add, especially if you order outside the US, but I think that for those of you who really need it, it's the best choice out there.

    I'm really picky - this product is great

    Before I start I know. I've been there. My neighbors are noisy and I live in New York, that has notoriously flimsy cardboard walls. It won't completely block the sound, but it did minimize it by a good 65%, which is what I needed to sleep. For the price, I would recommend buying three! It does the job and it helps me sleep and stay asleep. If the neighbors run or stomp, I still hear it, but only if it's very heavy running. I recommend it!

    NOT Max noise reduction!

    These were supposed to be the best of the best in keeping noise out. They're not! I've had better that I bought at dollar general store in keeping noise reduction down. Almost like wearing nothing! Would not recommend if you really would like to have a good night sleep reasonably quiet.

    Inferior to Prior Version

    The "new and improved" ear plugs are inferior to the prior version. They are approximately 1/3 larger in size making it difficult to obtain a good seal. These ear plugs also cause discomfort to the outer ears.

    Quality control lacking within the company

    I found every pair to fit a little different. I also found myself searching for the ones that fit. If I order a few packs I end up with at least one pack that is un useable. I hope this helps you. Thanks
