From American Revolution to Life in England
The series develops over five seasons. We have watched the first four seasons and have the fifth season on order. It is very well acted and the characters are complex individuals. I enjoyed the way the story begins in America near the end of the American Revolution and then transitions to England. There are unexpected twists and turns in many subplots throughout the story. The fourth season was purchased on EBay as a pre-owned DVD set, and one of the episodes had three short "skips" (probably due to careless use and a scratch on the disc by the original owner). That's the only reason I gave a "4" rating instead of a 5.

Poldark is magnificent!
Spectacular storyline, scenery, acting, romance, action, heroism, and more all without a single swear word! Imagine that! This is the BEST thing ever to watch, everything about it is sensational! Historical fiction puts you there on Cornish soil in early 18th century. Not a boring moment, you will laugh and cry. And have to watch every season more than once. Extraordinary! Wonderful! Superbly done from dialogue, costumes, sets, the horses, to everything. Fabulous.

It is a joy to see!
I appreciate the Poldark series on PBS - with all that I had to do I did not get to see all the season! Also I needed to see most of the series again for its fine acting and the scenery of the coastline. My family is from the area or at least in the middle of the country. It is so much a good study of everyday living at the time (very historical). Alice Spurgeon Reid

Awesome series
This series is heartwarming, sad, drama that you can feel. You'll love the characters and dislike a few. Tears will be shed. You will impatiently wait for the next season.

terrific characters
Awesome product of PBS; great story line from the novels by Winston Graham; characters are so real that the viewer inevitably comes to care about them as if they were. Well researched period piece.

Poldark Series Enjoyable
I like Historical programs. Poldark lives up to my expectations. I like in a visual way the way people lived in past times and the way their daily lives are portrayed.

Can't get enough of Poldark!
Always be yourself....unless you can be Mrs. Poldark....then by all means be Mrs. Poldark! Seriously though, I hear Season 5 will be the last. Thinking there will be a worldwide womens-march upon Nampara!
