After a disastrously short-lived run on the Fox network, the gleefully bizarre GREG THE BUNNY returns to its edgy roots with a collection of film shorts made for the Independent Film Channel. Created by Sean Baker, Spencer Chinoy, and Dan Milano (ROBOT CHICKEN), the 10-minute shorts fashion hilarious parodies of classic films like PULP FICTION, EASY RIDER, and ERASERHEAD (the latter of which is a spot-on pastiche nearly as disturbing as the original) with a loveably roguish cast of puppet characters: the dim-bulb rabbit Greg the Bunny; the self-absorbed has-been actor Warren the Ape; the vampire horror-movie host Count Blah; and a strange purple creature called the Wumpus. This collection presents 13 of the series' best film parodies for satiric comedy at its smartest and funniest.

This isn’t everyone’s type of show but it’s mine. It’s been nearly 2 decades since I last watched this series and while not great I love the humor and the puppeteering.
