    Great transaction, exactly as described, packed well, and promptly shipped on August 6th. Unfortunately the U.S. Postal Service took 23 calendar days to deliver the book. It was shipped from Pennsylvania, to Atlanta, past Alabama to Texas, enjoyed several days in Texas, then to Minneapolis, Jacksonville, Florida, back to Atlanta, finally to Birmingham, and Huntsville. The seller was very responsive and I decided it was interesting to see if/how the book would arrive. Thanks, Joe

    Fascinating book with some good recipes

    This is a fascinating book, lots of details about life as a chef to the Royal family, especially Princess Diana. Only had the book a couple of weeks so haven't made a lot of the recipes yet. First recipe I made were for the Royal Tea Scones. These are too die for! The dough seems too moist using just the 3/4 cup milk, but the scones came out perfect. I've made them a couple more times since that first time, in fact I have a batch in the oven right now - this batch I put Sultanas (Golden Raisins) in. Then I tried the Beef Curry - English style. Was another hit with the family. And the only other recipe I have made so far is the Navarin of Lamb with herbed dumplings. Navarin is just a fancy French way of saying "stew", but this one is cooked in the oven. It was another big hit with the ...
