Although for HWcity in my opinion they're best used on permanent static tracks as opposed to something that you're dismantling and reassembling regularly due to the connectors not being spring loaded. This makes making the connectors lugs engage a manual process (pushing from underneath) this is much more time consuming. But they're also a fraction of the cost of oe HW

I bought a whole mish mash of different tracks and was able to build it into a whole track using these universal connectors. They are robust too .. the Postman had stood on the delivery envelope but all the connectors were undamaged!
