I replaced both original pickups due to neck pickup failure, the GM Overwound pickups sound awesome installed in the old Les Paul. Smooth when need and that Les Paul growl when you want it. Great value for the price and sounds as good to my ears as the big-name brands. I will purchase again when the need arises.

However, the sound was so much more vivid than the muddy pickups that came with the cheap guitar. I also rewired the guitar and put new pots. I would highly recommend these pickups for the value. I put them on a Chibson ES 335.
