Fascinating Story Beautifully Told!
An absorbing story about a woman nurse transported 200 years into the past (1743) through a sacred Rune in Scotland. She has no choice but to figure out what has happened to her while using her "magical" healing techniques to be seen as a sort of witch by the devout and deeply superstitious locals. This is only the first few episodes of the first season, barely a dent in the first dvd of four. Very well done and looks authentic: the woman nurse is the only anachronism and she wishes to keep that a secret!
