    Great "go to" reference book for accurate information on herbs and spices- in relation to how they work to keep us healthy.

    Great book to keep on hand for referencing herbs and spices, for their health benefits- many of which are already in our kitchen's pantry. Author is knowledgeable in herbal pharmacopeia, so we can trust the information he imparts. This copy was purchased for my daughter and son-in-law- as they are interested in NATURAL PREVENTIVE CARE, when possible- just as I am. I love my copy and refer to it often.

    The Green Pharmacy. A good reference book

    James Duke, a author that other authors reference. Why bother to read other authors views when when you can get info about herbalism from the source. Sturdy bookand binding.

    Good sensible information. From a person who knows and enjoys sharing his knowledge, research and experiences for us to benefit from. He says if it is safe to use certain plant sources, what interactions there may be, what to watch for, and when it is wisest to purchase it from a source that has the dosage right.
