Great value, perfect fit and great to have a spare.
Okay, many of us push our mowers into the shed or under the tarp during the winter. I used to be one of them only to pull my carb off every spring to clean out my laziness. I have learned, finally. The reason we don't typically change filters is convenience anyhow right? So, why drive around and pay $7.44 at your local Sears for one filter when you can get two here for less and save gas in your tank to boot? No excuse to change out that filter now. So, my personal lesson was to install an inline fuel shutoff valve, inline fuel filter (kit with hose here on ebay for ~10) and to turn off the valve when running after done mowing until the engine dies every time I park the mower. For winter storage, I drain the tank, pull the filter, spray a little wd40 into the carb, shove a rag in the carb ... For winter storage, I drain the tank, pull the filter, spray a little wd40 into the carb, shove a rag in the carb hole, put the air filter and housing cover into a 1 gallon ziplock bag, toss it on the lawnmowers deck then throw a tarp over it. (No garage or shed here). The mower starts every time after sitting for ~five months outside under a tarp. I also spray motorcycle chain lube on the ropes recoil spring once a year which keeps that brittle sucker from rusting and snapping once every two years. Follow these simple steps to save you replacing the carb or float valve and seat let alone blowing out the jets every year. You can get a carb for the B&S 6hp's for ~15 here on ebay. I try to keep a spare but typically fix a neighbors mower with it! I live in a VERY sandy environment and sometimes mow directly over patches of fine sugar sand. This filters keeps sand out of the carb and keeping the filter maintained, saves me more time to watch football.

Generic Briggs and Stratton air Filter
My filter was about 20 years old and was totally clogged so I bought an OEM one at WM. I have two mowers that use the same filter and the other was probably 40 years old. So I figured I would buy one of the cheap ones on Ebay and compare with the new OEM one. The generic looks identical to the OEM one--same size and color and the filter media looks the same. I can't really say if they work identically but at less than 1/2 the price, it works for me. I might even change every 10 years at this price. good filter for small engine
Air filter looks excellent and fits well on a Briggs or Honda small engine. I like the white filter material instead of the OEM Honda green paper. 6pcs package is a great price.

Perfect Fit and a great price
These filters match exactly the OEM filter and the "generic" sold in local parts stores. The cost for two, including shipping, was less than I could by one for previously. There was a slight wait due to the fact it shipped from China, however I was not in a rush. I would purchase this item again and from the same seller.
