    Great transaction, exactly as described, packed well, and promptly shipped on August 6th. Unfortunately the U.S. Postal Service took 23 calendar days to deliver the book. It was shipped from Pennsylvania, to Atlanta, past Alabama to Texas, enjoyed several days in Texas, then to Minneapolis, Jacksonville, Florida, back to Atlanta, finally to Birmingham, and Huntsville. The seller was very responsive and I decided it was interesting to see if/how the book would arrive. Thanks, Joe

    What you should know b-4 using the last resort.

    Mr. Ayoob is well respected by many for his knowledge and his direct way of putting some of that knowledge into easy to understand writing. He does an excellent job of addressing the what if scenarios and when or what you should consider when you make the choice to resort to deadly force. At the time when pressure is on you is not the time to consider all the what ifs. His book helps people be much better prepared for before and after you have to resort to using a firearm in self defense of self or others in your immediate area.

    Deadly Force

    Massad Ayoob has written several books, a couple of which I have read. He knows his subject and provides great advice. ....Hopefully I will never be in the situation where I need it. But if I do , I feel like his advice will better prepare me for it. I would also recommend "In the gravest extreme" as a must read for firearm owners.

    Review on deadly force understanding your right to self defense

    This book is a must read for anyone who wants to concealed carry or already does. It explains in depth all of the factors that must be taken into consideration before using a deadly weapon. It refers to many court cases to provide grounds on which you could stand if you were ever put in a similar situation.

    Deadly Force review

    I have been reading Mas' articles in gun magazines for 6 years. Last year I bought his Handbook for Concealed Carry-it was excellent. This book is the serious companion book dealing with the very serious decisions you must make to carry concealed and the very serious issues you will deal with if you ever have to use that weapon. I highly recommend it.
