    Good transaction. Item was in new condition as listed. Fast shipping. My only issue is that it was sent USPS which 1) in our area is less than reliable (outside Atlanta). 2) this is a 8x10" gel plate in a plastic package. It came in a big mailing envelope and the mail person just shoved it into the mailbox and had to bend it to get it in the box. 3) not negative ding to the sellers but I would suggest a choice of shipping. options so I don't have to use USPS.

    Not quite as advertised

    I bought this direct box specifically as a cheap alternative for reamping guitars in my studio. Running signal into the 1/4" input and out through the XLR sounds okay (just a slight low end roll off, nothing extremely noticeable), but running signal into the XLR jack and out the 1/4" jack sounds awful. Measuring the signal on a RTA, there was nothing being reproduced below 400 Hz. My only reason for not sending it back is because it sounds fine converting unbalanced to balanced signals, and return shipping would probably be as much as the box itself cost. All in all not a bad box for the money, but not quite as advertised.

    Practice makes Perfect Audio Connections

    This product, Pyle-Pro PDC21 Instrument To Balanced and Unbalanced audio lines, is the third one that I use as an interface between my Behringer MX-1604A mixer output to a Ham Radio transceiver Yaesu, Kenwood, or Icom microphone input, via a Heil CC-1 XLR Y-BAL Cable or generic cable. In this type of configuration, the Pyle-Pro PDC21, as an interface box, ensures impedance matching and hum reduction, with it's Ground Loop Lift circuitry. It's a cheap way to achieve excellent audio transfer.

    Built like a tank!

    These are heavier than I thought. Have a great sound (not colored), easy to use. All inputs and out puts are clearly labeled. Only time will tell if they hold up. Think I'll order 2 or 3 more!

    Great value

    Use this DI box for live sound application for electronic drum machine. It makes the unit more like "real" drums and enhances the fullness of the sound. It is very easy to use and is housed in a rugged steel box. There are more expensive and complicated DI boxes out there but for the price and functionality, this unit is hard to beat. Would buy another if this one broke.

    Protect your instrument.

    This direct injection box is well made and a good value. It gives me peace of mind that the circuits in the electric piano (Yamaha Clavanova) are protected from phantom power problems.The impedance matching feature is also important to the operation of the instrument.
