Works Well!
I purchased this for my Shih Tzu, who has eye issues - lots of itching, redness, and dry eyes. It was very competitively priced on Amazon, so I ordered here after seeing it on other pet needs sites for almost twice as much money. Things to know: It's a gel, so it's a little goopy. If you have a dog who isn't great at having stuff put in their eye, it will get all over their hair during the application process if they are moving around at all. Aiming into a small dogs eyes can be challenging. Also, you do have to give it a pretty good squeeze for it to come out, so you may end up with more than you need a few times while you get the hang of that. I was only successful getting it in my dog's eyes a couple times - but it really worked! Within an hour she wasn't rubbing her eyes any more, and by the next day some of the black substance that usually comes from her eyes diminished noticeably. Application process aside (which varies from dog to dog I'm sure), I really like this product. It worked better than I expected! My Cats Best Friend
This works great with your cats eyes , the gel is kinda hard for me to get in his eyes , so I have to move quick and just rub in with my clean fingers .. he catches on too quick ... Seriously gives my cat clears the virus , or cat dander , dust goes away and my cat acts so much better after about 3 or 4 hours , he runs away mad at me and then comes back happy .. When he is a happy cat then the whole house is happy . only need a few drops at a time ... Help My Dogs' Eyes
I think Vetericyn is a great company that puts out very good product. Two of Great Pyrenees puppies have allergies. The whites of their eyes are red and in the morning, they have weepy eyes and gunk. I rinse out their eyes and then apply the antimicrobial ophthalmic. It seems to help with the weeping and gunk. Do we recommend this product ? Well, sorta
PROS: Tried it for about a week and a half. As far as it's effectiveness is concerned, it seems to do the job to a reasonable extent. Our goal was to eliminate or reduce the eye puss or white'ish glop which seems to form in our Pekingese's eyes a few times a day. We found it to eliminate about 70% of the glop. However, eliminating the balance is just an uphill fight. It is suggested to use an eyewash before using this product simply because it does NOT act as an eyewash by itself. However, it will defend against the usual quick goo build up. CONS: The product's consistency is a bit "gloopy" itself. No matter how hard you try, too much may come out of the tip's dispenser. I try shaking the bottle which helps somewhat. Finer control from a better tip seems to be what's needed. OTHER THOUGHTS: Some have reported that their dog did not mind it. However mine does. No, it doesn't burn. I know this because it put in in my eye before using it on my dog. My vision (in that eye) was blurry for about 5 minutes. When it cleared up, I could swear that the eye had slightly better distance vision. Perhaps that eye was just slightly better to begin with.... May have just been positive thinking :) Getting back to the dog, he is a bit reluctant to have the drops placed in his eyes probably due to the "gloppyness". Sure, we use a tissue to wipe off the excess but it's still gloppy. Frankly, it takes 2 people to get it in his eyes. One to hold his head and the other to dip the drops. VetericynPlus Eye gel for my dog

Great item

Good medicine

It works wonders for films in the eyes of Animals
