This fifth feature adaptation of Anna Sewell's classic 1877 novel comes to life, told from the point of view of Black Beauty himself -- who narrates the film. Set in England, Black Beauty (who has a British accent) tells us the details surrounding his birth, his "colt-hood", and his perception of humans, since he has various owners throughout his life. While some of these proprietors are caring and compassionate, others prove to be cruel and crude to the vulnerable Beauty, often placing him in life-threatening situations--which he may or may not survive.

    The stamps were packaged with the condition and appearance of the stamps in mind. Because, unfortunately, the postal service put that packaging to the test. By the time my items arrived the packaging looked like it went through a war. There were rips and black scuff marks all over the sides. Like it got stuck in a scanner. But when I opened the envelope, the appearance of the stamps maintained the great quality and the high value that comes from buying from this seller.

    Great movie for kids to enjoy

    It's hard to find good movies with horses in it for kids so this was a great one. My kids both really enjoy this one.

    Black Beauty is a Winner

    A truly beautiful family film! ;) One of my all-time favorites. And the DVD arrived in Very Good condition (looked almost new) and appears to play perfectly.
