Light is the key to the deepest of mysteries, and the bridge that connects science and spirituality. Drawing on his uniquely varied expertise as a scientist, engineer, yogi and elder, the author shows in a clear and easily understandable way, that when science and Christian faith are properly understood, not only do perceived conflicts disappear, but there exists a synergy between them that supports and enriches both. Visionaries and prophets throughout history and from widely diverse backgrounds, as well as many individuals who have had so-called near death experiences, have consistently reported experiencing God as Light - Light that is qualitatively and quantitatively different from the light we ordinarily see. Another common element in these experiences is a portal, a heavenly gate, or "tunnel." The author shows unequivocally that the portal is a higher-dimensional phenomenon predicted by Albert Einstein's relativity theories 100 years ago and known in physics as an Einstein-Rosen Bridge. Re-examining the biblical creation story in terms of the "Light of Christ" he shows that the "fall" of man from the presence of God was a quantum event in which his conscious awareness switched from God to the physical world. It also becomes clear that the first chapter of Genesis is about the creation of the universe, not about our planet. The apparent anachronisms in the Genesis story then disappear, details of the physical creation as distinct from the spiritual come into sharp focus, and the creation story is seen to be in complete harmony with modern science., In the day that we fully understand both the principles of science and the mysteries of God, we shall see that they are one and the same! What is the tree of knowledge of good and evil? And what is the "fruit?" What is the "tunnel" reported by near death experiencers? And many more!
