Sherlock: Season One is directed by Coky Giedroyc, Euros Lyn, and Paul McGuigan and is written by Steve Thompson and Steven Moffat. Commentary by the actors and directors are featured before each episode in this drama, as well as a feature going behind the scenes that tells how the series is made. Sherlock: Season One has an aspect ratio of 1.78:1 and can be shown in HDTV and SDTV formats. The run time of this two-disc set is 461 minutes.

    Best TV Show you will ever find!

    The actors are extremely engaging and talented, the camera transitions are fun and inventive, and the story plot is very engaging and unexpected. Its a great mystery show that is a credit to the original Conan Doyle stories.

    Well written, just like Doyle...

    Always engaging to go back to the classics, but with superb actors. It takes great actors to pull off one of the great fictional detectives. The arrogance of Benedict and the way he just seems to step into the role like he was meant specifically for it is undoubtedly one of the best casting decisions. Martin is also a fine choice for Watson and his facial expressions are one of a kind...

    Great characters. Cumberbatch & Freeman make a perfect Holmes & Watson. The BBC has done an excellent job updating Doyle's 100+ year old pair. Duffy

    Cumberbatch + a Hobbit. How CAN you go wrong, eh?

    The entire series is engaging, tightly produced and liberally laced with authentic themes and actual bits of Sir CD's books. I've read 'em all. Multiple times! And LOVE the dialogue!!!
