Good unit if it fits your needs.
The good: It feels solidly made. The internal battery or capacitor that allows you to take it off power to program is great. The buttons are responsive. The one outlet is on the face so bulky plugs will fit ok. The not so good. The unit is bulky and hogs most of the power outlet. The thee prongs are configured so it won't fit most of my multi outlet devices. The programming is less intuitive than most. For instance, to get from auto to manual mode one presses and holds the MAN key for 4 sec. Most similar units have a mode key that toggles between manual and auto. If this fits your specific needs, you can remember the programming instructions, or are the type to keep the original instructions, this will work well for you. The good: It feels solidly made. Easy to use timer
After charging up the timer, it was easy to program which can be done without the unit being plugged in. I did need to refer to the instruction leaflet briefly since it was different from my previous timer. It works well for my grow lights and seems reliable. The unit is rather large but doesn't cover the other outlet.

Quality needs to improve.
Timer is somewhat complicated to program but ones done, it works great. I disassembled it to see how quality is it build. Found Hot (black) wire proper size for 15A but Neutral is thin and will heat up under 15A, its good for under 8A. Don't those who design it, understand that the Ohms Law - the same amount of current goes thru both Hot and Neutral? I replaced the white wire for proper size for 15A current. I also added small LED indicator light across relay coil to indicate power ON state (drilled small hole in cover plastic). Timer is somewhat complicated to program but ones done, it works great. Great Timer For Hydroponics
I have four older versions of this electronic timer and they are still working after ten years. This new version does all the same thing. I need to have hydroponic pumps turned on for only ten minutes at a time, and most other timers cannot do this. This timer can. You do need to set the on time and the off time individually which might confuse some new users.
