This is the story of the great seven-piece Waterboys line-up that flourished from the spring of 1989 to the summer of 1990 when three uniquely gifted musicians joined the long-term members and began a journey into music none of us has ever forgotten.
Synopsis
This 240-page book contains a 50,000 word narrative from Waterboys founder/leader, Mike Scott telling the story of the Waterboys great seven-piece band from 1989 through to the release of their 1990 album, Room to Roam. Covering the band members backgrounds, places they played, how they discovered traditional songs & recording at Spiddal House in the West of Ireland. The also features contributions by band members, an incredible collection of photographs, maps, lyrics, manuscripts, master tapes and other archival material.

It was shipped from Pennsylvania, to Atlanta, past Alabama to Texas, enjoyed several days in Texas, then to Minneapolis, Jacksonville, Florida, back to Atlanta, finally to Birmingham, and Huntsville. The seller was very responsive and I decided it was interesting to see if/how the book would arrive. Thanks, Joe
