    Have read a few other books on the Ketogenic lifestyle and I have to say this book is the best one yet. These authors, Wilson and Lowery are extremely knowledgeable and share the facts in an understandable and clear way. This writing is the best and easiest format that I have found to date. It brings the reader to a solid foundation on why, how and what to apply so as to gain immeasurable benifits to enhance and enjoy better or even optimal health. The charts and graphs are easily understood. The references are numerous. Then to round it all out the recipes all with mouth-watering colorful photos bring this book to the next level. I never expected to gain so much from one book. I wish I could personally thank both Dr. Jacob Wilson and Ryan Lowery, PhD. Not just for this publication but for ...

  • The GO TO source for understanding ketogenesis!!!

    Very detailed and complete breakdown of ketogenesis from the biochemical aspect all the way through practical applications in one's life, including the treatment of chronic illnesses and disorders. For those NOT in the sciences, the beginning can make your eyes glaze over discussing the Krebs Cycle, and all the amino acids, alcohols, and covalent bonds....but, still, it's explained with really impactful illustrations that can make it easier for anyone to understand! The last fourth of the book is dedicated to recipes. This book is an ENCYCLOPEDIA for those starting on their Keto journey and I would highly recommend it for those that are interested in really LEARNING about their body and how food is actually used as fuel!!
