The right choice for DIY upgrade.
The Hair Clipper is a high quality product and even though it is a consumer product it is way better than all those "one in all" trimmers in electronics stores. It feels sturdy and efficient, not too noisy (I personally find it nice) and handy. The packaging describes that with the lowest adjustment the blades can cut at a minimum of 0.8 mm (not very clear in the description suggesting the shortest cut at 0.5mm; it obviously refers to the smallest comb). It comes with 9 combs as rightfully described. The combs are not the highest quality though, as the plastic is slightly deformed in the highest length range (19, 22, 25mm) and in the 0.5mm as well. I personally use the smaller range as the biggest are usually not very efficient. I would suggest Wahl not to include the biggest in the ... The company needs better checkers
I received a wahl hair clipper in a perfectly intact box. On opening and taking the item out of the package, i could see some broken bits. One of the teeth were missing from the comb and was not in packet. The lever to move the blades was non existent, well it was, it was in 3 bits in the bottom of the bag. To top it all, the cutting guards were all bent, i saw this before even opening the packet they were in. Overall i was really disappointed with this product, i spent ages looking up reviews and googling best hair trimmers (which this make came high up on the list). I have used the wahl hair clippers for years without a problem, but this has certainly put me off ever using them again.I received a wahl hair clipper in a perfectly intact box. Quite heavy to use on yourself. Combined with really sharp blades made my first haircut of myself a 'bloody affair', lol. Doing others is a doddle. It cuts close to the bone. It ain't called Baldfader for nothing. Sturdily built decent bit of kit.
