The packaging was ingenious in its simplicity. I love the deep black finish. It plays well, sounds great, and the EQ is responsive. I had mistaken the listing title and had accidentally ordered the octave mandolin, but a quick communication with the seller and all was good. Can't say enough positive about this purchase.

I contacted the seller prior to buying, And they were most helpfull. If I Decide to get another unusual instrument, I will certainly consider them again.

I took delivery today. The instrument was well marked as fragile, wrapped in bubble.wrap and double boxed. The external box took some damage but everything inside was mint. The instrument is beautiful and looks to be a great value!
