    The item I purchased is in working order but the description is misleading and inaccurate. It is not an opened and unused item (as described in the listing) but a refurbished item (it was actually written on the box that contained the goods!) Furthermore, the goods were indicated as shipped by the seller after a week from the day I made the payment. I also had to contact the seller several times to get a response. I would not buy anything from this seller again.

    working so far

    I have saltwater. I use these on a breeder tank with clownfish in it. I also have two hermit crabs and a few snails. The tank has been up and running for a month with no water changes and my numbers look good. I also have two small live rocks and they live in a ceramic pot. a torch coral and s hammer coral round out the tank.

    Provides a clean and fresh aquarium environment

    Exactly as advertised. Within the first day of using this product, my tank looked much cleaner than how it was before. Now it actually feels like an aquarium. I think it was able to filter out the ammonia that built up over the course of weeks. Suggest buying in packs instead of lose ones. Will buy again.

    Very good

    Needed to replace filter cartridgeso I bought these. Cleans water good. I had some cloudy substrate for my plants that didn't get rinsed out as good. I put in a new filter and within a day or so the water was very much clearer. Good value for the price too

    great filters

    I usually buy these at the pet store but they were out of the size I need, so I searched on ebay found them and even with shipping it was less than what I paid in the store! So I'll be coming back here next time I need them
