Additional informationThis 2004 album by the alternative-rock band Soulwax includes "Compute," "NY Excuse," and "Miserable Girl." Personnel: Nancy Whang (vocals). Audio Mixers: Soulwax; Flood ; Alan Moulder. Photographer: Eva Vermandel. After spending 2000-2003 working on their Too Many DJs project (and thus co-creating the bootleg remix sound of 2002), the Belgian slacker rock act reconvened Soulwax to create this album of tight polished positivist indie rock. The true follow-up to 1999's Much Against Everyone's Advice finds brothers Stephen and David Dewaele taking on influences from Weezer to Pavement with a touch of electronica.
