    Great transaction, exactly as described, packed well, and promptly shipped on August 6th. Unfortunately the U.S. Postal Service took 23 calendar days to deliver the book. It was shipped from Pennsylvania, to Atlanta, past Alabama to Texas, enjoyed several days in Texas, then to Minneapolis, Jacksonville, Florida, back to Atlanta, finally to Birmingham, and Huntsville. The seller was very responsive and I decided it was interesting to see if/how the book would arrive. Thanks, Joe

    Great addition for emergent readers.

    These books are a great little addition to the library for early/emergent readers. The books are small and easy to handle and hold. The content is filled with repetitive sight words. The reader becomes familiar with the characters and is interested in learning what new adventure is in store for them. The stories become more complex with more and more words added with each book and are repeated many times so the reader develops a larger collection of sight-words.

    These books were used in the 50s and the 60s. They use short words and phrases. The children realize that they are reading a story and they get excited when they realize that they are actually really a story.

    Remember when I learned to read

    I grew up learning to read in these books, and always loved them. I really love the sweet images, and thought it would be fun to have one.

    The titles expresses the contents of the reader well to the point.
