    piece of junk

    about the sixth time I used this rope cocking device the rope broke when I had the crossbow string nearly all the way back (150lb draw) - one of the plastic hooks shot into my shoe and broke my toe. I'll try it again, but this time I am replacing the extremely cheap black (thin) rope with good quality double braid nylon and replace the plastic handles with oak dowel. Maybe the one I received was just a defective piece of junk - I don't know - be your own judge after you see how cheap these things are!

    Great product for your crossbow

    I purchased this item to help me in cocking my 175lb. recurve crossbow. It is designed after other products selling for allot more money. The only thing I had to do, was to replace the string that came with it, to a larger size cord,( I used paracord). I not sure if you would have to do that or not. But for the crossbow I have, I needed a larger size cord. It is easy to use, and after some practise, I can cock my crossbow in seconds. It also uses the block and tackle design to reduce the amount of muscle power needed by at least 60 to 75%. I highly recommend this product, especially for women and young people needing more leverage in cocking their crossbows.

    Rope

    It is for a compound, its also blue ,first picture is black one the rest of pictures are of a blue one ,needs to specify ,also one knot at end of rope should be two ,so it doesnt come undone and pull out of handles also handles could be wider like other models to fit hand better. should of ordered.

    Allen Cocking Device

    This worked great on my Barnette Gamecrusher. The crosswbow is 165 lb pull. It is a handfull without a cocking device. This device is a must to use on these new compound crossbows. It is easy to pull and very safe. You can spend a lot of money on other devices and they are exactly like this Allen. TERRY

    Found no fault

    Crossbow cocking rope works great (used over 200 x's since purchase) and was very affordable. Would certainly recommend it.
