Reviews
"The greatest virtue of Herrick's text is its accessibility. Still more unique, and of arguably equal value, is the placing of significant concepts in a historical context. The lower price of this text is also a HUGE selling point in its favor."--Andrew V. Jeffery,Green River Community College "Herrick is a very clear and articulate writer, with really humorous and entertaining examples. I find much of his writing to be clearer and more succinct than that of his competitors."--Brian Glenny,Gordon College "The sidebars into the history of philosophy and application of logic to real life issues give students a variety of content that helps them relate to the material. Herrick's writing style is conversational and engaging. This is important for a logic book as logic easily becomes impersonal and disengaging. Herrick does well when appealing to commonsense views in order to explain difficult concepts."--Peter Westmoreland,University of Florida, "The greatest virtue of Herrick's text is its accessibility. Synopsis
This is a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of logic (both formal logic and critical reasoning), with exceptionally clear yet conversational explanations and a multitude of engaging examples and exercises. Herrick's examples are on-point and fun, often bringing in real-life situations and popular culture. And more so than other logic textbooks, Introduction to Logic brings in the history of philosophy and logic through interesting boxes/sidebars and discussions, showing logic's relation to philosophy., With clear explanations and many contemporary examples drawn from popular culture and everyday life, author Paul Herrick untangles the complexities of logical theory in Introduction to Logic. Offering a unique combination of two approaches--the historical and the technical--he presents logic as both a fascinating, evolving story and a body of essential technical information with applications to every area of human thought. Seller was responding fast and sent out the item soon after purchase. Item was as advertised and packaged securely. For some reason ebay made it cross the US from west to east two times, but at no fault from the seller. I was very happy with the price I paid for. Would recommend the seller for further purchases.

Bad Experience! Buy from someone else or retail if you have options. Shipping was good Packaging was low Not as described; list pre-owned-Good; should have been Poor. The battery was dead. I bought tools & a battery but the watch band broke the 3rd time I picked it up; I never wore it. Value negative; it was a chore and garbage that I paid for Seller's response felt flippant and aggressive: "So you broke it and its our fault somehow?" This person scares me and now I am afraid of ebay.

They took a watch apart then said they threw it away. Then proceeded to tell me since they broke it I was getting a negative feedback.. good luck in the future if they happen to purchase from you..
