Stephen King's It
The film quality was excellent. The producer obviously tried to mimic in certain areas the original IT. The characters did fairly well. I was a little bit more character in the horror creation. Pennywise would seem a little bit more in the movie. I think that they could have worked a little bit harder and did a little bit but I work on create the real horror film. It was good but I wouldn't give it a five-star. So I'm going to go ahead and say I'll give it a 3-star. It's good for one time watch.The film quality was excellent. Good story
Great story, for those King fans it does not truly follow the book well. However that would be hard to do as a movie. It is a 2 part movie though. The next should be coming out this summer. I will add to my disappointment that the DVD case states that there are some interviews and supplemental footage included. There is not.

Arrived In Fast Timing In Top Condition!
Within the same week after I ordered a DVD copy of the new "It" movie, it arrived at my house in top condition. Even when I watched the movie, the disc is is also in top condition with a great picture quality and no skipping at all, not even once. Even the movie is overall very well done, interesting, and intense with the story brought to live action overall well with the characters developed and brought overall good as well. The beginning is very touching where Bill, the main character, made a paper boat for his little brother Georgie, as well as when Georgie floated his new toy boat in the water on the street before it accidentally fell into the sewer to be intercepted by Pennywise the Clown, who is portrayed not only very well, but very creepy and scary, like the killer clown is meant ... scaring but very simple and somewhat entertaining

Preferred Original but this had some good features.
I had seen the original 'IT' several years ago, so when this movie came out, HAD to see 'IT', too! Was it a good value, Yes. Was it entertaining? Some parts more than others. More gory than the original. Engaging characters? Other than the unnecessary language, there was just enough time spent on each character that allowed you to see why they were the way they were. I believe the original was better....guess we'll have to wait for the next 'chapter' !!I had seen the original 'IT' several years ago, so when this movie came out, HAD to see 'IT', too!
